Happy New Year 2008

2007 Gone and Welcome 2008. I could not believe that the year has gone by so fast. And A brand New Year is ahead of us.Nothing major happened last year, we have no Hurricane, nor real cool weather in the South here. Gas was going up, and a little steady the last few months. Economy was not growing and neither was the stock market. But I know Google's stock has gone up to $700 since the last 2 years. I regretted not buying any when it was first listed.
A lot of businesses have been complaining that it was not a good year.Business was not growing . A lot of my friends who are in the restaurant business had been complaining about slow business. Maybe there are too many restaurants now, whether Chinese, Italian, Mexican or American.
It looked like Walmart is having good business because in Columbus ,Georgia here they have been 4 Brand New Super Walmart.
For Myself, 2007 is a peaceful year for me and my family. Nothing major happened, we sold our Hot Wings Restaurant, and I am able to have more time to venture in to other business while my husband got a very good and steady job but he has to travel a lot. This year I started my blog and wokandleisure is my very first blog. Though I did not earn much income from Google Adsense , only a few cents here and there, I was able to look in to many affiliates program and Internet business opportunities, and also learned a lot from ebooks and online communities. I also get to know a lot of online friends and buddies from communities like http://218876.lawnchairmillionaire.com, www.lazzeo.com/lai888, www.adlandpro.com,
directmatches,ojeez and www.mybloglog.com/buzz/members/Laibiz

I have joined a few business opportunities. www.lai888.jerkydirect.com,
www.loftyprofits.com/?user=Lai88,
Lawnchairmillioaire.com and http://ladybug888.3500weekly.hop.clickbank.net
I have only received a few checks of $2.00 from Jerkydirect, but they have some tasty and healthy jerkys. I earned $60 from Loftyprofits but the have to hold till I earn $100 for me to get a check. Others, I hope to see more earning in the New Year ahead. This my resolution , to earn more on the Internet in the year 2008. I know I have a lot to learn and explore.
Family wise, everyone is healthy, my eldest gone to college in Georgia Tech in Atlanta. My youngest hopefully can graduate this year, he is not too enthusiastic in school.Spent too much time playing war craft on the Internet. Hope he can explore and earn online.
I got to learnt a lot from bloggers online. I really admired bloggers like
Johnchow, Shoemoney, Johncow etc. I wondered how people like John Chow can earn so much being a blogger. I loved to read www.johnchow.com, he really gave me a lot of inspirations. His blog is very interesting.
So out the old 2007, and in the New 2008. Hope this is a better year for everyone , whether on the Internet business or Brick and Mortar business. Hope every have success and a great year ahead, not only in the United States but around the world. In Chinese the number 8, represents prosperity.

Be a Lawn Chair Millionaire.

How would you like to be a Lawn Chair Millionaire?

I found a new home business opportunity that pays me monthly... even though I have not made one sale since I joined!

I don't have to qualify for it and I don't have to jump through any hoops. It just appear in my commission balance like magic each month!

At the end of the FIRST day that you join your first commission share will be available to you to take to the bank!

You are one of the really very FIRST to know about this new program with a MUST SEE product line and a revolutionary “Moneyline” plan that guarantees you will earn commissions your FIRST day on the team… and for the next 60 days.

JOIN the Moneyline NOW and collect your first payday TONIGHT. Then continue earning for no less than the next 60 days.

Looks like every single day a HUGE pool of MONEY builds up as more and more people pile in. That pool of money is then paid out on a first come, first served basis until it’s gone.

Interesting concept.

Those who get in first get a bigger share. Those who get in first AND jump ahead of those you didn’t act fast enough get an even BIGGER share!

What I am seeing is that without doing anything my commission balance is already growing fast.

This is too easy to pass up.

Take a look for yourself…

King of All Desserts- A $25,000 Chocolate Sundae

What will you buy with $25,000 ? I am sure can I come up with a lot of uses for it. Maybe buy me a car,go travel or put a downpayment for a new house. But,Would you spend it on some chocolate sundae?
A day after New York City came up with a $1,000 bagel, a local restaurateur unveiled a $25,000 chocolate sundae on Wednesday, setting a Guinness world record for the most expensive dessert. This is King of All Desserts

Stephen Bruce, owner of Serendipity 3, partnered with luxury jeweler Euphoria New York to create the "Frrozen Haute Chocolate," a blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from around the globe.

The dessert, spelled with two Rs, is infused with 5 grams (0.2 ounces) of edible 23-karat gold and served in a goblet lined with edible gold. At the base of the goblet is an 18-karat gold bracelet with 1 carat of white diamonds.

The sundae is topped with whipped cream covered with more gold and a side of La Madeline au Truffle from Knipschildt Chocolatier, which sells for $2,600 a pound.

It is eaten with a gold spoon decorated with white and chocolate-colored diamonds, which can also be taken home.

"It took us a long time to experiment with all the ingredients and flavors, and more than three months were needed just to design the golden spoon," Bruce told Reuters.

Four years ago, Bruce unveiled a $1,000 ice cream sundae called Golden Opulence, a staple on his menu and a favorite with rock stars, socialites and other celebrities.

Both desserts are sold only with advance orders. Bruce said he has received inquiries about his latest creation, mostly from Europeans planning to visit New York.

"I wouldn't be surprised if soon we get a call from a Middle Eastern prince or Shah willing to give something sweet to his many wives on his next trip to the city," Bruce said.

On Tuesday, New York chef Frank Tujague of The Westin New York hotel at Times Square unveiled the $1,000 bagel, topped with white truffle cream cheese and goji berry infused Riesling jelly with golden leaves. Sales will help raise funds for culinary school scholarships.

Googles Introduces You Tube Video Units.

Now you can get great video content from your YouTube for your site and earn extra revenue along the way with your AdSense Account.
Introducing video units

AdSense isn't just for ads anymore; it's also a place to get video content for your site -- and earn extra revenue at the same time.

'"We're excited about the launch of video units -- a new way to enrich your site with quality, relevant video content in an embedded, customizable player. Simply embed a snippet of code and have relevant YouTube partner content streamed to your site. You can choose categories of video to target to your site, select content from individual YouTube partners, or have video automatically targeted to your site content. Companion and text overlay ads are relevant and non-intrusive. To further blend the YouTube player into your site, you can also customize the color scheme and layout as well as choose from three different player sizes.

If you're looking to build "stickiness" with your visitors, show quality YouTube partner video on your site, and earn extra revenue along the way, and want to know more, then review our common questions about video units. You can also check out the video below to see how it works."

If you're ready to get started now, sign in to your AdSense account and head for the AdSense Setup tab. Click the video units link and you'll be on your way to setting up your first video unit.

See you later! We've got some videos to watch.

Update: Video units will be live in AdSense accounts later today (10/9). Currently this feature is open only to publishers located in the United States with English-language websites.

BlogRush Rainbow of Flavors

You’ve asked and we’ve listened!

Introducing, BlogRush Flavors. (They’ll be available in a few days.)

* Click to see a larger version in a new a window.

You’ll be able to choose the color of your choice so it more closely matches the design of your blog.

MORE NEWS…

It seems that some people are trying to call BlogRush a “pyramid scheme” or stating “there’s just no way the future impressions will ever be able to be served based on the promises of what referrals will bring. The math is impossible like other schemes of this kind.”

Anyone that is saying this doesn’t understand how BlogRush works…

EVERY SINGLE IMPRESSION GETS REWARDED FOR *THAT* IMPRESSION AS IT HAPPENS. There is no “promise” of future rewards based on referral activity today. Each and every impression of the widget (and impression of the 5 headlines per widget) is rewarded AS IT HAPPENS. And when all the math is said and done, it also leaves 1 out of every 10 headline spaces left-over for BlogRush to use to monetize the service. So apparently some people think it’s all based on false promises that the network will eventually “catch up” and pay rewards in the future. This just isn’t the case. Every single impression that occurs is calculated and rewarded to the generations ‘above’ — that’s how the math has to work.

We’re working hard to move to the 100% Manual Review Process as quickly as possible, and other improvements.

As I’ve now said many times, our SOLE FOCUS is helping our members generate quality, targeted traffic. So we’re hard at work to make that happen.
