Bling Bling Rims
My topic today is not about vintage cars. I have been driving around and noticed the cars that young guys here in the South driving. They loved those Buick Boxcar, Crown Victoria and maybe some old Impalas. Some of them will go all the way to make their cars look impressive. I saw one Crown Victoria painted Green with John Deer Logo.
One has M&M candies all over, and one has the WalMart's Smiley Face. Most have bright mettalic paint on them.
Another thing you will notice on these cars is these guys they like to spend their money on those Bling Bling Rims or Chrome Rims. Not Cheap, each rim cost between 300 to 600 dollars. Sometimes the Rims cost more than their cars. Is this the way they show their status?
The rims used to start with 18 ", then came the 20",22",24" and now they have like 30". What is it with those big rims? And how are they going to maneuver their cars?
Guess modern driving is a lot different from Grandpa's driving.

The Most Expensive Dessert
A Sri Lankan resort charges $14,500 for dessert!!
This dessert may be a little too rich for you, but you're probably not rich enough for it. A Sri Lankan resort is charging $14,500 for what it calls the world's most expensive dessert, a fruit infused confection complete with a chocolate sculpture and a gigantic gemstone."The Fortress Stilt Fisherman Indulgence" was created to give visitors at The Fortress resort in the coastal city of Galle a one-of-a-kind experience, said the hotel's public relations manager, Shalini Perera. The dessert is a gold leaf Italian cassata flavored with Irish cream, served with a mango and pomegranate compote and a champagne sabayon enlighten. The dessert is decorated with a chocolate carving of a fisherman clinging to a stilt, an age old local fishing practice, and an 80 carat aquamarine stone.Story continues below ↓advertisementThe dessert has to be specially ordered, Perera said. Though the hotel has gotten calls about it from as far away as Japan, she said, no one has yet forked over the money to try it.

Pho Vy -Vietnamese Cuisine
Having settled in United States for so many years, I have not dined in a Vietnamese Restaurant before. I knew nothing about Vietnamese cuisine. I thought everything is either spicy or sweet and sour. I loved Thai Food, but not Vietnamese.
There are a lot of Vietnamese and Laotians living in Columbus. Most of them either work in factory or owns a Nail Saloon. There is at least two Nail Saloons in every major Street in Columbus. I only knew one Vietnamese Restaurant. So about a month ago,we wanted to try out some Vietnamese food ,as I heard the Pho(Far) is very good.
We went to Pho Vy Vietnamese Cuisine on River Road. Located in a small shopping complex, the restaurant is brightly painted with yellow color, and simple decoration. Owned by a young couple, we see some little kids sitting around. Very cosy.
We asked the waitress to recommend and she told us the Pho no. 0 is very famous. on the menu Pho.Dac.Biet is a Combination Noodle Soup with eye round steak, well=done flank, marble brisket, soft tendon and beef tripe.
We also ordered Cha Gio-Vietnamese style eggrolls, fried (4 per order)Goi Cuon- fresh steamed spring rolls.
Another popular item is Bun Tom Thit Nuong - Vermicelli with marinated grilled pork slices and shrimps.Com Tam Suon Nuong -Grilled pork chop with Jasmine Rice.
For drinks we ordered fresh coconut juice and soy-bean milk.
We waited not too long even though they were a little busy, with no extra waitress and the kids running around. We got our egg rolls, perfectly fried and served with some sweet and spicy sauce , perfect!!!We amazed when our noodle soup is served, in a gigantic bowl, and lots of beansprout, parsley, lettuce accompanied on a side plate.
And the pork chop comes in a big oval plate. Very generous serving. The noodles was really delicious, lots of meat, really home-cooked style.
I am very satisfied with our first attempt on Vietnamese Cuisine. Will come back again.
PhoVy is located on 5156,River Road,Suite A, Columbus,Georgia

BlogRush Rainbow of Flavors
You’ve asked and we’ve listened!
Introducing, BlogRush Flavors. (They’ll be available in a few days.)
* Click to see a larger version in a new a window.
You’ll be able to choose the color of your choice so it more closely matches the design of your blog.
MORE NEWS…
It seems that some people are trying to call BlogRush a “pyramid scheme” or stating “there’s just no way the future impressions will ever be able to be served based on the promises of what referrals will bring. The math is impossible like other schemes of this kind.”
Anyone that is saying this doesn’t understand how BlogRush works…
EVERY SINGLE IMPRESSION GETS REWARDED FOR *THAT* IMPRESSION AS IT HAPPENS. There is no “promise” of future rewards based on referral activity today. Each and every impression of the widget (and impression of the 5 headlines per widget) is rewarded AS IT HAPPENS. And when all the math is said and done, it also leaves 1 out of every 10 headline spaces left-over for BlogRush to use to monetize the service. So apparently some people think it’s all based on false promises that the network will eventually “catch up” and pay rewards in the future. This just isn’t the case. Every single impression that occurs is calculated and rewarded to the generations ‘above’ — that’s how the math has to work.
We’re working hard to move to the 100% Manual Review Process as quickly as possible, and other improvements.
As I’ve now said many times, our SOLE FOCUS is helping our members generate quality, targeted traffic. So we’re hard at work to make that happen.

BatMobile
When you walk in to the display room, you will notice a very odd shape looking car.Something from the future or the past. Painted all black and you find mannequins of Batman and Bat lady standing on the side. This is the Original Bat mobile that was featured in the movie"Batman Forever. Staring Val Kilmar as Batman and Nicole Kidman. Very well built, with Bat wings and Batman's Logo on the rims. This car can travel fast.A two seater with open roof is very well engineered.

The Amphicar- Germany
Have you seen the first Amphicar? This cute little car was built in Germany , on the Europe market between 1961-1965. It is convertible and it's unique features are you can drive it as a car on land, and when you go to the beach, you can use it as a boat,it is made to drive on water.Pretty cool. I wonder why they are not making more of this, so when you want to go out to the waters , you do not have to pull your boat along. How much will the insurance quote be?
Painted pearly white, the front is shaped like a boat, the back has little bat wings, this cute little car is adorable. It is on display at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum,Florida.

A Vintage Chevrolet.
Driving down the road on Buena Vista Drive after my Saturday sale at the Flea Market, I noticed this Big White Vintage sitting in from of the Andrea's Club.I turned around to get a better view. Indeed , this is not a Ford , but an Old
Grandpa's Chevrolet. I think in the 40-50's.
This car has a new coat of white paint, a brand new Chevrolet Tag, in front,a gold color Chevrolet Logo. Despite the big, wide body, the lights are small and round, and tiny turn signals. The side window glass has a crack, and the tag dated April 05.I guess this is not running, but a show car. Not perfectly rebuilt but still a piece of Chevrolet Vintage, located in Columbus,Georgia.
Look out for some upcoming really antique car!!!!

Another Old Ford Truck.
We have to leave on a trip to Auburn,Alabama. On the way, we have to fill up our gas tank. At the BP Gas station,on Manchester Expressway, sat an Red Old Ford Truck. I have noticed this little vintage a few times, but did not realized how old he was.
Since we stop for Gas, I better snap a few photos and check him out.
Beautiful painted bright red, like a Lady in Red, fully restored. I check the tag, but it said 1960, wow this truck is made on the year I was born. I intstantly fall in love with this truck. So vintage yet still looked strong and sturdy, and good looking.
This is another winner, Another Good Old Ford Truck.

Want Exclusivity? Try The Lamborghini.
Do you want some class and exclusivity?
If you ask Lamborghini, one million euros ($1.4 million) should do it -- before tax, of course.
In a bid to add more prestige to what it already has, the Italian maker of super luxury sports car unveiled the Reventon at Frankfurt's international autoshow, a very limited edition car that looks more like an arrow than anything on four wheels.
With this price tag, it is the most expensive car that it has ever built.
Needless to say, Lamborghini has already sold the 20 cars that it plans to build.
"As soon as the word got out, we sold out in four days," Chief Executive Stephan Winkelmann told Reuters, adding that they could have easily sold another 20.
Most of the buyers were men from the United States, Lamborghini's biggest market, he said.
Some of them are already owners of a Lamborghini, which competes with the likes of Ferrari in speed and exclusivity.
"We have among our customers movie stars, sports stars... (but) the majority of our clients are businessmen. Men. Lovers of luxury goods," said Winkelmann.
True to its tradition of cultivating an aggressive image, Lamborghini named the car after a bull that killed matador Felix Guzman in 1943.
Although it is based on its Murcielago LP640 model, Lamborghini's engineers took inspiration from a fighter jet and reworked the composite carbon fiber body to accentuate the sleekness and angular edges usually associated with its cars.
The engine is the same as the LP640: a 12-cylinder rocket that can propel the car from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
By comparison, the coupe version of the LP640 costs a relatively more modest 219,600 euros.
Lamborghini, which is run by Volkswagen's (VOWG.DE) Audi division, will start making the Reventon in January and deliver them in October.
The car, which came in an opaque gray at the autoshow, has a three-year warranty.Engine
