Christmas 2007

Christmas 2007 is a wet day instead of cold as usual. It was drizzling the last couple of days.

This year we had planned to spend Christmas at my Brother in law's place, at Montgomery ,Alabama.

We started the day at 9 am central time, ready to cook a whole lot of food.,since my sister-in law had planned a party at lunch time,12pm plus Karaoke time.

We started preparing Pork and Shrimp Dumpling,Salad, Braised Duck with Mushroom,Stew Fish with Soy sauce, rice and my Famous Hakka Dish, Taro Ball with Black Mushroom and Dried Shrimp.

They also bought a brand new grill, ready to BBQ some ribs and chicken wings. But unfortunately he did not check the connector to the gas tank, it was little too big. So We can use the grill, we have to bake the ribs and chicken wings in the oven. Also we had a big Honey Ham to go in to the oven too.

We were real busy, as guests started to come in. Each family also brought a dish. We have more food, everywhere. Macaroni and cheese, Stir fried vegetables with Tofu, more salad, Braised Ham hock with mushroom, dessert, fruits on Phyllo dough, Italian Cheesecake, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Sweet Potato pie, Coconut/pineapple pie. We also have Bubble Ice Tea and the best

Guiling cold noodles.

Some of the ladies helped to make the Dumpling, and we started to enjoy our lunch. There was plenty of food.

Then , the ladies start to have their Karaoke party. They can sing some real Chinese Oldies. The children/teenagers played games while the men sat around to talk.

They were so much food left ,so each guest got them a to go plate to take home.

It was a great Christmas party with friends and families. After that a lot of dishes to clean. And our family, drove back to Columbus, Georgia.

Cranky Customer Left Waitress $50,000

BROWNSVILLE, Texas - For nearly seven years Melina Salazar did her best to put on a smile and tend to the every need of her most loyal and cantankerous customer.
She made sure his food was as hot as he wanted, even if it meant he burned his mouth. And she smiled through his demands and curses. The 89-year-old Walter "Buck" Swords obviously appreciated it, leaving the waitress $50,000 and a 2000 Buick when he died.
"I still can't believe it," the Luby's cafeteria employee told Harlingen television station KGBT-TV in an interview during which she described Swords as "kind of mean."

Swords, a World War II veteran, died in July. But Salazar learned just a few days before Christmas that he had left her the money and car.

Home of $25,000 Dessert Back to Business

The home of the famous $25,000 dessert is back is business, after health officials concluded it no longer home to mice and cockroaches.

Serendipity 3, a popular tourist destination on Manhattan's East Side, was allowed to reopen Tuesday, about three weeks after the restaurant was shuttered because of rodent infestation.

The famous sweet shop was closed Nov. 14 after it failed two inspections in a month. Inspectors spotted mouse droppings, fruit flies, house flies and more than 100 live cockroaches.

City Health Department spokeswoman Jessica Scaperotti said the restaurant had failed an inspection on Friday after mouse droppings were spotted. But it passed a followup inspection Monday night.

She said Wednesday that the agency will go back within 30 days for another inspection.

Serendipity's delectable menu items sometimes have patrons standing in line for hours to get inside. Its $25,000 Frrrozen Haute Chocolate — featuring top-grade cocoa, edible gold and shavings of a luxury truffle — was declared the most expensive dessert by Guinness World Records. It also offers a $1,000 sundae named Golden Opulence, requiring 48-hour advance notice

Be a Lawn Chair Millionaire.

How would you like to be a Lawn Chair Millionaire?

I found a new home business opportunity that pays me monthly... even though I have not made one sale since I joined!

I don't have to qualify for it and I don't have to jump through any hoops. It just appear in my commission balance like magic each month!

At the end of the FIRST day that you join your first commission share will be available to you to take to the bank!

You are one of the really very FIRST to know about this new program with a MUST SEE product line and a revolutionary “Moneyline” plan that guarantees you will earn commissions your FIRST day on the team… and for the next 60 days.

JOIN the Moneyline NOW and collect your first payday TONIGHT. Then continue earning for no less than the next 60 days.

Looks like every single day a HUGE pool of MONEY builds up as more and more people pile in. That pool of money is then paid out on a first come, first served basis until it’s gone.

Interesting concept.

Those who get in first get a bigger share. Those who get in first AND jump ahead of those you didn’t act fast enough get an even BIGGER share!

What I am seeing is that without doing anything my commission balance is already growing fast.

This is too easy to pass up.

Take a look for yourself…

Dinner at Atlanta's Canton House

I do not have to work today. So I decide to go to Atlanta to do some shopping and to meet my son for dinner. It takes about one and a half hour to drive to Atlanta from Columbus ,Georgia ,taking I 185 and 85 north. Since it is a weekday, the traffic is not so heavy.
I arrived Atlanta about 2 pm . Since I only meet my son at 6.30 pm, I have a lot of time. I had lunch at the Hongkong restaurant. I had a bowl of mee hoon soup with fish ball.
Then I did some grocery shopping and I still had a few more hours to waste. I decided to get me a hair cut. I went to a hair saloon at Old China Town. The hairstylist is very friendly, and I got to know she's from Malaysia and speak Cantonese too. She did a good job cutting my hair, and charged me $20 plus $5 tips.I was satisfied.
Still have a lot of time, went for more grocery shopping, to the bakery store, got some bread and egg tarts. Also got me a cup of hot milk tee. With 2 more hours to wait, I drove around and went to the Mexican mall, there's a lot of Hispanic shops selling all kinds of Mexican stuff, clothing, boots, belts, food and decorations.
I drove to the Canton House at Buford Highway, waiting for almost 30 minutes.
My sons and three friends came. The restaurant is not too busy tonite, usually they were packed on Sundays, where we went to eat Dim Sum.
The waitress sat us down and offered us our menu. We ordered the family meal, for 4 ,for $49.00. She told us if we order the regular menu up to $10.00, we can order a Lobster of only $5.00 (regular $24.95) That is such a good deal, but the boys did not like lobster.
Our dinner consist of one Tofu and Spinach Soup, Sesame Chicken, Salt and Peppered Shrimp, and Glazed Pork Chop. We also have a choice of dessert, Orange or Red bean Soup.We also ordered half a roast duck.
We really enjoyed our dinner, but they forgot our Pork Chop. They brought to us only when we finished, so we have to get a to go box.
The bill came up to $70.00 for 5 of us. Quite Satisfied.
The Canton House is located on Buford Highway, they are famous of some good Dim Sum.

$25,000 dessert Restaurant Got Busted

Any one tried the most expensive sundae dessert yet. ? It must be so good that the mice love them too.
A New York restaurant that set a record this month for the world's most expensive dessert — a $25,000 US chocolate treat — has been closed temporarily by the health department after failing a second consecutive inspection, local news outlets reported Thursday.

WNBC-TV said inspectors saw a live mouse, mouse droppings, fruit flies, house flies and more than 100 cockroaches at Serendipity 3 on East 60th St.

The restaurant, immortalized in film and famed for long lineups, made headlines in early November when its Frrrozen Haute Chocolate — a blend of cocoas from 14 countries, mixed with five grams of gold and served with a side of French truffles — set a Guinness world record for the priciest dessert.

Next time you go dine in at an expensive restaurant, make sure you check the Health
Inspection Score and read the violations written on it.

Bento Box at Tako Restaurant.

After training at Atlanta, we drove back to Columbus, went to recruit a few people to join our great team at YTB Travel Network. We were hungry so I brought my friend ,Anita to have dinner at the Tako Restaurant. She liked Shasimi(raw fish) and I loved the Sushi there. They made some fresh sushi's.Also, the young guy that owns the Tako restaurant speaks the same dialect ,me and Anita spoke, Hakka. You can't find a lot of Hakka people in America, a lot of Cantonese and Fijians that speak Mandarin. When you meet someone who speak your dialect, you feel so at home.
The waitress brought us some Hot Green Tea. We ordered a combo plate with Shasimi and California roll and a Bento Box.
To start with , Anita had salad and I have Miso soup. The soup had seaweed and cubes of tofu in it.,miso based. Tasted delicious.
Then came our Shasimi plate, 10 pieces of hand rolled Shasimi, with a varieties, yellow fin, tuna and salmon . I don't quite like the Wasabi, too hot. I preferred with a little dip of hot pepper sauce. Also we have some California roll, Rice rolled in seaweed ,with some crab meat and avocado slices.Good with some pickle gingers.
Then came my Bento Box, a large beautiful Oriental box filled with goodies.
Came with 2 large Tempura Shrimp, so crispy, White rice, 8 pieces of California Roll, 2 pieces of Fried Sweet Potatoes,2 pieces of Siu Mai(steam minced pork and shrimp on a wonton wrapper)some tossed salad with great salad dressing, and a big piece of well grilled Terriyaki chicken on a bed of steam cabbage. The bento box is only $13.95 .And we could not finish the whole meal, a togo box was needed.
I also a small plate of Broccoli Chicken to take home for my husband. Tako Restaurant not only served Japanese but also Chinese cuisine. I liked the Japanese food better. They also have delivery service.
We were so full, and the whole ticket is only $32.00 (by the way he gave us 20% off)
It is good to go eat at some restaurant that you know the owner, you can get discounts or maybe free sometimes.
We were real satisfied with our Dinner, I recommend the Tako Restaurant, at Double Churches Road, in Columbus ,Georgia . If you come , please visit them, tell them I sent you, you might get a discount.

King of All Desserts- A $25,000 Chocolate Sundae

What will you buy with $25,000 ? I am sure can I come up with a lot of uses for it. Maybe buy me a car,go travel or put a downpayment for a new house. But,Would you spend it on some chocolate sundae?
A day after New York City came up with a $1,000 bagel, a local restaurateur unveiled a $25,000 chocolate sundae on Wednesday, setting a Guinness world record for the most expensive dessert. This is King of All Desserts

Stephen Bruce, owner of Serendipity 3, partnered with luxury jeweler Euphoria New York to create the "Frrozen Haute Chocolate," a blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from around the globe.

The dessert, spelled with two Rs, is infused with 5 grams (0.2 ounces) of edible 23-karat gold and served in a goblet lined with edible gold. At the base of the goblet is an 18-karat gold bracelet with 1 carat of white diamonds.

The sundae is topped with whipped cream covered with more gold and a side of La Madeline au Truffle from Knipschildt Chocolatier, which sells for $2,600 a pound.

It is eaten with a gold spoon decorated with white and chocolate-colored diamonds, which can also be taken home.

"It took us a long time to experiment with all the ingredients and flavors, and more than three months were needed just to design the golden spoon," Bruce told Reuters.

Four years ago, Bruce unveiled a $1,000 ice cream sundae called Golden Opulence, a staple on his menu and a favorite with rock stars, socialites and other celebrities.

Both desserts are sold only with advance orders. Bruce said he has received inquiries about his latest creation, mostly from Europeans planning to visit New York.

"I wouldn't be surprised if soon we get a call from a Middle Eastern prince or Shah willing to give something sweet to his many wives on his next trip to the city," Bruce said.

On Tuesday, New York chef Frank Tujague of The Westin New York hotel at Times Square unveiled the $1,000 bagel, topped with white truffle cream cheese and goji berry infused Riesling jelly with golden leaves. Sales will help raise funds for culinary school scholarships.

A bowl of Wonton Soup Noodles

I do not have to work today. After running some errands and feeling a little hungry , I have a craving for some Wonton Soup Noodles. My son didn't like Vietnamese cuisine, and husband was not in town. So I decided to enjoy my leisure lunch alone. Actually almost 3.30 pm, I drove to the PhoVY Vietnamese Restaurant at River Road, Columbus,Georgia.
Since lunch hour is over, I was the only customer. They are actually famous for their Pho (Beef Noodles soup).Recently, I discovered they also made good Wonton Soup Noodles.
So, I sat down and ordered me a bowl Wonton soup noodles and a glass of soy bean milk. Actually comes in a can with a glass of ice. The Wonton Soup noodles is a bowl of egg noodles or Wonton Mee, thin yellow noodles with clear chicken broth. Served with 5-6 wontons, homemade ,minced pork wrapped in wonton skin. Also some thin slice of roast pork. The soup has some green onions on it and they gave me a plate of beansprout ,lettuce and some raw green chili peppers. They are spicy hot. I like to put a little Siriracha hot sauce on mine, gave a little twang. I also ordered some
fried pork , they are so fragrant and fried crispy, only a little greasy.
I really enjoyed my noodles, and I took my sweet leisure time, eating them and enjoying the Vietnamese music playing on the radio, though I could not understand what they sang.It was some Chinese songs translated to Vietnamese.
It was a great lunch, I loved the really home-cooked style, reminded me of my hometown back in Malaysia. All those delicious home town cooking I have missed.
Sorry, no photo this time, I forgot to bring my camera.
And the ticket came up to $9.84. Not bad for a satisfied meal.

1979 Pontiac Trans AM

Another great car that I saw at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum is muscle car,
a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am SE.The 1979 Firebird was re-designed with new graphics and a front nose with quad rectangular headlamps that stood in seperate bezels with a new grille below them. The rear end also got a make-over and featured blackout panels that disguised the taillights on Formula and Trans Am models.

Note: Another record setting year for the Trans Am and it's sales and a special silver 10th Anniversary edition Trans Am was sold in what would be the last year for the Pontiac 400 engine.
This car is refer as the Bandit, made famous by the movie Smokey and the Bandit, by Burt Reynolds. This is the fastest factory car Pontiac Car ever produced.
Fully restored, this car is painted black, with a gold firebird on the hood. And it has only 10 actual miles driven.

A Thousand Dollars Luxury Pizza

What is the difference? A Thousand Dollars Pizza from Nino Bellissima and a Five Dollars Pizza from Little Ceasars.
A New York restaurateur has cooked up the most world's most extravagant pizza -- a $1,000 pizza topped with six sorts of caviar and fresh lobster.

Nino Selimaj, who runs six pizza restaurants in New York, on Wednesday unveiled his Luxury Pizza, a 12 inch (30 cms), thin crust topped with caviar, lobster, creme fraiche and chives. Cut into eight, it works out at $125 a slice.

"I know this won't be for everyone but there are people in New York who can afford it and once tried, they'll be back for more. It is delicious," said Selimaj, who moved to New York from Albania about 29 years ago.

"Sure, some people will say it is just a publicity stunt but I have researched this for over a year and think there is a demand. I have already sold one."

Selimaj said his restaurant Nino's Bellissima, which is the only one of his restaurants to offer the Luxury Pizza, needs 24 hours notice for the gourmet dish as it orders the caviar in advance.

"But where better to experiment with pizza than in New York where people love their pizza," he said.

If diners are still peckish after the Luxury Pizza, they can always head over to the midtown restaurant Serendipity that sells a $1,000 ice-cream sundae called Golden Opulence which is covered in 23K edible gold leaf.

For a $1000 you can 200 pizza from Little Ceasars or Cici Pizza .,for $5.00 a piece with lots of pepproni and cheese ,with marinara and garlic sauce

A Thousand Dollars Dessert

Have you even tried the most expensive Ice Cream Sundae? How much did you pay? $10,$15? How About $1000 U.S.Dollars?
What do you get when you take five scoops of Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream decked with exotic candies and truffles, dribble bittersweet chocolate with a 70 percent cacao content over it, top it with fruit-infused caviar and edible gold leaf, and serve it in a crystal goblet with an 18-carat gold spoon?
The world’s most expensive dessert.
Thanks to Stephen Bruce, one of the founders and owners of Serendipity 3, a dessert cafe and popular tourist destination on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, satisfying a guilty pleasure has reached a new level of indulgence. The Golden Opulence Sundae, created to celebrate 50 years of luxury cuisine, isn’t on the menu, nor is it advertised. It’s like an exclusive club, marketed only through word-of-mouth, where you slip the bouncer a few Franklin to get to the front of the line. It’s secret. It’s special. And it’s $1,000 a serving.
“It’s bold and over the top,” Bruce said. “Like most things in New York.”
Bruce came up with the idea back in September 2004, when he was looking for a way to commemorate the golden anniversary of the cafe he’d opened with close friends Patch Carradine and Calvin Holt. Of the three--then all ballet dancers known for throwing fabulous parties--Bruce, now in his early 70s, is the only one left to taste the product of a lifetime’s achievement.
“On the day we unveiled it,” Bruce said, “I had the whole thing.” Since then, Serendipity 3 has sold more than a dozen of the Wonka-worthy delights. Customers who invest in the Golden Opulence Sundae are often wealthy buyers looking for a creative way to commemorate an occasion of their own. Past consumers have included a couple from Canada celebrating their wedding anniversary; a successful lighting designer; a woman treating her daughter on her sweet 16th birthday and trying to top her 15th, which included a walk-on appearance on the television show "Friends.”
The sundae isn’t meant to be a spur-of-the-moment purchase. It’s only available by appointment, and the ingredients--everything from the Parisian candied fruits to the pricey Amedei Porcelana chocolate--have to be ordered in advance. A well-known specialty cake designer, Ron Ben-Israel, created the gold-covered sugar flower, while the rare Chuao chocolate is harvested from cocoa beans on Venezuela’s coast. The Grand Passion Caviar--served in a mother of pearl spoon--comes stripped of its saltiness and sweetened with fresh passion fruit, orange and Armagnac liqueur.
Bruce personally supervises each construction, a 20-minute process because of the delicate nature of the ingredients. Chocolate is chopped and melted; ice cream is layered with Madagascar vanilla. Once customers have savored the delicacy, they get to keep the golden spoon and $300 Baccarat Harcourt crystal goblet.
The sundae has joined the ranks of the city’s most extravagant edibles; another is the Algonquin Hotel’s $10,000 martini, which comes garnished with a diamond of the purchaser’s choice. But in the world of solid foods, the Golden Opulence Sundae has little competition, and was the first to gain recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s most expensive sundae.
Its nearest New York challenger--an entire zero away--is famed toy store FAO Schwarz’s Volcano Sundae at $100. The toy store’s concoction, however, is more about quantity than quality and is recommended for “four big eaters.” The mound of ice cream is drenched with seven toppings and erupts when the Belgian chocolate crust is cracked.
But it’s a different sort of customer who opts for the Golden Opulence.
Naresh Malhotra, a professor of marketing at the Georgia Institute of Technology, suggested that the sundae provided a unique experience for those who wanted to stand out from the crowd. “They can fulfill that need,” Malhotra said. “It can boost a person’s ego.”
Still, the Golden Opulence Sundae--about which celebrities and royalty have inquired--is not likely to reach the average sweet tooth. “I don’t think anyone who can’t make ends meet, would go out and spend $1,000 on an ice cream sundae,” Malhotra said.
Many find the concept hard to comprehend. Lynn and Spencer Sweet, a couple of theater buffs visiting from Vermont, braved the cold one recent Tuesday as they waited for two hours to try another popular invention at the crowded restaurant.
Lynn was eagerly anticipating the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate--a $7.50 ice cream shake that Rachael Ray had promoted on the Food Network. But they’d never heard of the Golden Opulence Sundae. And even if Spencer had an extra $1,000, would he indulge? “Not on a sundae,” he said, somewhat incredulously.
But soon there may be a cheaper version--a way to bring the quintessentially New York experience to the masses. “We’re planning a poor man’s option,” Bruce said. “For 1,000 cents.”
I rather go to Bruster's Ice cream and get me 3 big scopes of my favourite ice cream on a big waffle cone - only $4.50

The Mini Concept

I was always amazed though not in love with this cute little car. The Mini Cooper. I like to drive or sit in one but not so much as to own one.Remembered almost 30 years ago, I knew this guy who drove in one. That car was small but drove fast and furious. Even since I love to see a Mini. And few years back I was excited to see the new version when they brought it back.

Mini Showcases Stretched Mini Cooper Concept!!

BMW owned Mini Company, which manufactures the little, fashion icon car Mini Cooper have displayed a new concept based on the small car. This new concept vehicle is based on an extended version of the same Mini Cooper and it was showcased at the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show on Monday. They call this concept car Mini Concept Frankfurt and it still retains the two doors, which are so popular on the regular version of the car.

However, the new long doors make it easier for the passengers to get into the rear seats of the car. Mini says that they were inspired by the Morris Mini Traveler to develop this version. At the back of the car, the rear doors are hinged on the sides and open out and both the doors hang on special “intelligent” hinges that minimize the amount of space needed to open them.

Inside this concept vehicle, seats are mounted in a way that they appear to float above the floor of the car making it look like a spacious car. This version of the car was developed by the company to make loading and entering the car as simple and convenient as possible for the riders in the car. This version uses a supercharged MINI Cooper S engine making it a fun car to ride.

Bling Bling Rims

My topic today is not about vintage cars. I have been driving around and noticed the cars that young guys here in the South driving. They loved those Buick Boxcar, Crown Victoria and maybe some old Impalas. Some of them will go all the way to make their cars look impressive. I saw one Crown Victoria painted Green with John Deer Logo.
One has M&M candies all over, and one has the WalMart's Smiley Face. Most have bright mettalic paint on them.
Another thing you will notice on these cars is these guys they like to spend their money on those Bling Bling Rims or Chrome Rims. Not Cheap, each rim cost between 300 to 600 dollars. Sometimes the Rims cost more than their cars. Is this the way they show their status?
The rims used to start with 18 ", then came the 20",22",24" and now they have like 30". What is it with those big rims? And how are they going to maneuver their cars?
Guess modern driving is a lot different from Grandpa's driving.

The Most Expensive Dessert

A Sri Lankan resort charges $14,500 for dessert!!
This dessert may be a little too rich for you, but you're probably not rich enough for it. A Sri Lankan resort is charging $14,500 for what it calls the world's most expensive dessert, a fruit infused confection complete with a chocolate sculpture and a gigantic gemstone."The Fortress Stilt Fisherman Indulgence" was created to give visitors at The Fortress resort in the coastal city of Galle a one-of-a-kind experience, said the hotel's public relations manager, Shalini Perera. The dessert is a gold leaf Italian cassata flavored with Irish cream, served with a mango and pomegranate compote and a champagne sabayon enlighten. The dessert is decorated with a chocolate carving of a fisherman clinging to a stilt, an age old local fishing practice, and an 80 carat aquamarine stone.Story continues below ↓advertisementThe dessert has to be specially ordered, Perera said. Though the hotel has gotten calls about it from as far away as Japan, she said, no one has yet forked over the money to try it.

Pho Vy -Vietnamese Cuisine

Having settled in United States for so many years, I have not dined in a Vietnamese Restaurant before. I knew nothing about Vietnamese cuisine. I thought everything is either spicy or sweet and sour. I loved Thai Food, but not Vietnamese.
There are a lot of Vietnamese and Laotians living in Columbus. Most of them either work in factory or owns a Nail Saloon. There is at least two Nail Saloons in every major Street in Columbus. I only knew one Vietnamese Restaurant. So about a month ago,we wanted to try out some Vietnamese food ,as I heard the Pho(Far) is very good.
We went to Pho Vy Vietnamese Cuisine on River Road. Located in a small shopping complex, the restaurant is brightly painted with yellow color, and simple decoration. Owned by a young couple, we see some little kids sitting around. Very cosy.
We asked the waitress to recommend and she told us the Pho no. 0 is very famous. on the menu Pho.Dac.Biet is a Combination Noodle Soup with eye round steak, well=done flank, marble brisket, soft tendon and beef tripe.
We also ordered Cha Gio-Vietnamese style eggrolls, fried (4 per order)Goi Cuon- fresh steamed spring rolls.
Another popular item is Bun Tom Thit Nuong - Vermicelli with marinated grilled pork slices and shrimps.Com Tam Suon Nuong -Grilled pork chop with Jasmine Rice.
For drinks we ordered fresh coconut juice and soy-bean milk.
We waited not too long even though they were a little busy, with no extra waitress and the kids running around. We got our egg rolls, perfectly fried and served with some sweet and spicy sauce , perfect!!!We amazed when our noodle soup is served, in a gigantic bowl, and lots of beansprout, parsley, lettuce accompanied on a side plate.
And the pork chop comes in a big oval plate. Very generous serving. The noodles was really delicious, lots of meat, really home-cooked style.
I am very satisfied with our first attempt on Vietnamese Cuisine. Will come back again.
PhoVy is located on 5156,River Road,Suite A, Columbus,Georgia

BlogRush Rainbow of Flavors

You’ve asked and we’ve listened!

Introducing, BlogRush Flavors. (They’ll be available in a few days.)

* Click to see a larger version in a new a window.

You’ll be able to choose the color of your choice so it more closely matches the design of your blog.

MORE NEWS…

It seems that some people are trying to call BlogRush a “pyramid scheme” or stating “there’s just no way the future impressions will ever be able to be served based on the promises of what referrals will bring. The math is impossible like other schemes of this kind.”

Anyone that is saying this doesn’t understand how BlogRush works…

EVERY SINGLE IMPRESSION GETS REWARDED FOR *THAT* IMPRESSION AS IT HAPPENS. There is no “promise” of future rewards based on referral activity today. Each and every impression of the widget (and impression of the 5 headlines per widget) is rewarded AS IT HAPPENS. And when all the math is said and done, it also leaves 1 out of every 10 headline spaces left-over for BlogRush to use to monetize the service. So apparently some people think it’s all based on false promises that the network will eventually “catch up” and pay rewards in the future. This just isn’t the case. Every single impression that occurs is calculated and rewarded to the generations ‘above’ — that’s how the math has to work.

We’re working hard to move to the 100% Manual Review Process as quickly as possible, and other improvements.

As I’ve now said many times, our SOLE FOCUS is helping our members generate quality, targeted traffic. So we’re hard at work to make that happen.

BatMobile

When you walk in to the display room, you will notice a very odd shape looking car.Something from the future or the past. Painted all black and you find mannequins of Batman and Bat lady standing on the side. This is the Original Bat mobile that was featured in the movie"Batman Forever. Staring Val Kilmar as Batman and Nicole Kidman. Very well built, with Bat wings and Batman's Logo on the rims. This car can travel fast.A two seater with open roof is very well engineered.
You can only find this special invention at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Amphicar- Germany

Have you seen the first Amphicar? This cute little car was built in Germany , on the Europe market between 1961-1965. It is convertible and it's unique features are you can drive it as a car on land, and when you go to the beach, you can use it as a boat,it is made to drive on water.Pretty cool. I wonder why they are not making more of this, so when you want to go out to the waters , you do not have to pull your boat along. How much will the insurance quote be?
Painted pearly white, the front is shaped like a boat, the back has little bat wings, this cute little car is adorable. It is on display at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum,Florida.

A Vintage Chevrolet.

Driving down the road on Buena Vista Drive after my Saturday sale at the Flea Market, I noticed this Big White Vintage sitting in from of the Andrea's Club.I turned around to get a better view. Indeed , this is not a Ford , but an Old
Grandpa's Chevrolet. I think in the 40-50's.
This car has a new coat of white paint, a brand new Chevrolet Tag, in front,a gold color Chevrolet Logo. Despite the big, wide body, the lights are small and round, and tiny turn signals. The side window glass has a crack, and the tag dated April 05.I guess this is not running, but a show car. Not perfectly rebuilt but still a piece of Chevrolet Vintage, located in Columbus,Georgia.
Look out for some upcoming really antique car!!!!

Another Old Ford Truck.

We have to leave on a trip to Auburn,Alabama. On the way, we have to fill up our gas tank. At the BP Gas station,on Manchester Expressway, sat an Red Old Ford Truck. I have noticed this little vintage a few times, but did not realized how old he was.
Since we stop for Gas, I better snap a few photos and check him out.
Beautiful painted bright red, like a Lady in Red, fully restored. I check the tag, but it said 1960, wow this truck is made on the year I was born. I intstantly fall in love with this truck. So vintage yet still looked strong and sturdy, and good looking.
This is another winner, Another Good Old Ford Truck.

Want Exclusivity? Try The Lamborghini.

Do you want some class and exclusivity?
If you ask Lamborghini, one million euros ($1.4 million) should do it -- before tax, of course.

In a bid to add more prestige to what it already has, the Italian maker of super luxury sports car unveiled the Reventon at Frankfurt's international autoshow, a very limited edition car that looks more like an arrow than anything on four wheels.

With this price tag, it is the most expensive car that it has ever built.

Needless to say, Lamborghini has already sold the 20 cars that it plans to build.

"As soon as the word got out, we sold out in four days," Chief Executive Stephan Winkelmann told Reuters, adding that they could have easily sold another 20.

Most of the buyers were men from the United States, Lamborghini's biggest market, he said.

Some of them are already owners of a Lamborghini, which competes with the likes of Ferrari in speed and exclusivity.

"We have among our customers movie stars, sports stars... (but) the majority of our clients are businessmen. Men. Lovers of luxury goods," said Winkelmann.

True to its tradition of cultivating an aggressive image, Lamborghini named the car after a bull that killed matador Felix Guzman in 1943.

Although it is based on its Murcielago LP640 model, Lamborghini's engineers took inspiration from a fighter jet and reworked the composite carbon fiber body to accentuate the sleekness and angular edges usually associated with its cars.

The engine is the same as the LP640: a 12-cylinder rocket that can propel the car from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

By comparison, the coupe version of the LP640 costs a relatively more modest 219,600 euros.

Lamborghini, which is run by Volkswagen's (VOWG.DE) Audi division, will start making the Reventon in January and deliver them in October.

The car, which came in an opaque gray at the autoshow, has a three-year warranty.Engine

Vintage Vehicle

This morning, I was having a craving for my daily dose of coffee,so I decided to go to Burger King for some breakfast. As I drove in to the parking lot, a bright red car caught my eyes. I saw thes vintage car, sitting beautifully on the lot.

After I got my breakfast, I took my digital camera and snapped me a couple of photos. I could not find the owner, so I did not get more info on this vintage car. I lookede at some car's magazine to check it out. This looks like a vintage Ford of the 30's. I think it is a Roadster.

It has bright red paint job and fully restored.

Anyone know what year this Ford is?

Happy Birthday

Today is my birthday and it nice to have good Friends. My best friend invited me and my son to her house and she cooked me some good Homecooked Malaysia food. Curry Chicken,Hard boiled Eggs, cucumber,Nasi Beryani (Spicy rice) And I bought some Tiramisu cake from Publix.
And dinner ,my friends Kun,Kenny and Flora cooked some real chinese cuisine, which I really missed since living in the States for so long. Pig feet in soy sauce, Braised Roast Pork with Tofu and Steam Fish .And we have an Ice Cream Cake.
When I reached home,I checked on my computer and a bunch of nice friends from my other network community ,Adlandpro sent me their birthday wishes. Really appreciate for all the kind and nice people I met online. There are really a lot of good friends around the world on the online community, like Adlandpro, Directmatches, Lazzeo, Ojeez and Mybloglog.

One really caught my eye is a simple prayer sent by Bob Carper. So I want to share with all my friends here.
Dear Lord: Every single evening As I'm lying here in bed This tiny little prayer Keeps running through my head. God bless all my family Wherever they may be, Keep them warm and safe from harm For they're so close to me. And God, there is one more thing I wish that you could do. Hope you don't mind me asking, Bless my computer too. Now I know that it's not normal To bless a mother board, But listen just a second While I explain to you 'My Lord'. You see, that little metal box Holds more than odds & ends Inside those small compartments Rest so many of my FRIENDS. I know so much about them By the kindness that they give And this little scrap of metal Takes me in to wherever they live. By faith is how I know them Much the same as you We share in what life brings us And from that our friendship grew. Please, take an extra minute From your duties up above To bless those in my address book/network That's filled with so much love! Wherever else this prayer may reach To each and every friend, bless each e-mail Inbox And the person who hits “Send. “When you update your heavenly list On your own CD-Rom Remember each who've said this prayer Sent up to God.Com. Amen.
Happy Birthday Lai

Buying Jerky WITHOUT the Middleman
Jerky Direct has taken a unique position in the marketplace in that we have decided to completely bypass standard distribution methods, slotting fees, brokers, etc. and sell jerky direct to our customers. Go Away Party

A bunch of Asian Geek kids,at a Go Away Party at Hot Wings Cafe

The kids are going back to school. My eldest son , Charmant is transferring from Columbus States University to Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia.

So finally he is moving out of the house, have been packing this whole week and going to and fro to Atlanta. He has been eating at home all these while, I am wondering if he is going to miss all my home cooked meals.

A few others kids like Ma Seow and Wang are going to Georgia too. So a few of us Parents here

decided to give them a Go Away Party. I am going to cook some Hot Wings, Curry Chicken and Fried rice. Well, I made some Hot Wings, Terriyaki Wings and I grilled some too.

Yin, brought pizza and beer, Wang's parents brought some spring roll. Joan brought some salad,

and dessert.Rachel brought a cake she baked, with Georgia Tech logo on it, but too sweet.

Still have 2/3 left today.

All the wings gone, and what ever left is taken home by the families.

The kids are having a good time, so are the adults, enjoying the food and glad their teenagers are finally moving out. But , Asians still have those family links, they want their children to stay home with them, hoping they will be taken care of, when they get old.

Party is over at 5.30pm.Kids go hang out, parents go back to work.
